Chris is an independent financial planner who has worked in financial services since 2008, and as a financial planner for more than 10 years.

Most recently, Chris worked at Aware Super Financial Services where he gained extensive experience in pre-retirement and retirement planning.  He has deep knowledge of the complexities of defined benefit super schemes, especially the NSW and Commonwealth public sector schemes.  Chris is an expert in SSS, SASS, CSS, PSS, Local Government Super (now called Active Super) and Aware Super.

Chris has worked as an asset consultant and in strategy roles, but he enjoys being a financial planner most.  To Chris, financial planning is about possibilities. He gets great satisfaction from helping clients figure out what they want could be a reality.

And he does it all with professionalism and respect.  Chris believes that care, understanding, trust and empathy are the foundations of a great financial plan.

Chris grew up in Valentine and still lives in Lake Macquarie with his wife and three daughters. Together, they live an active lifestyle.  They love camping, bushwalking and beach adventures with the family dog, all squeezed between netball games and Little Athletics events.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Newcastle and an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services.
