Rick is an independent financial planner who has worked in financial services for more than 15 years, and as a financial planner for almost 10 years.

Most of Rick’s career has been spent working in public sector super. This has given him unique knowledge into the complexities of defined benefit super schemes.  He is an expert in SSS, SASS, CSS, PSS, Local Government Super (now called Active Super) and Aware Super.

Rick really enjoys advising pre-retirees and retirees.  Lots of people worry about running out of money, but Rick can help.  He can show them how to make informed decisions so that they have the confidence to spend, secure in the knowledge that their retirement plans are sustainable.

Rick is proud to deliver independent advice to the people of the Hunter.  He is setting a new standard for unbiased advice.  He is paid only by his clients and only for the services that he provides.  He receives no commissions, asset-based fees, or any other benefits from investment providers whatsoever.  What you see is what you get. There are no hidden agendas.

Rick grew up in Taree but has built his career in Newcastle. He lives in Lake Macquarie with his family and on the weekends can be found driving his four boys to and from sporting events.

Rick holds a Graduate Diploma in Finance, a Graduate Certificate in Finance, and a Diploma of Financial Planning.
